Our Story

Victorian Charm

Built in 1887, the year that Queen Victoria celebrated her Golden Jubilee, the house has an intimate charm that no large hotel can match. Its classic interiors incorporate many period features and a superb collection of antique furniture.

Home comforts include luxurious beds, splendid bathrooms, home cooked, traditional English breakfast and good old-fashioned hospitality. We should point out that our rooms are very much technology free, making it the ideal retreat, but if you wish to keep in touch Wifi is freely available.

There is ample gated guest car parking and Sequoia House is perfectly located just a short walk from Stratford’s world class theatres, restaurants, shops and Shakespeare properties.
